Terms of Use
Effective Date: June 21, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Gravida Psychiatry website and any content, features, or services made available through the website (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Site.
“Gravida Psychiatry,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the psychiatric practice operating this Site. “You” and “your” refer to any person who accesses or uses the Site.
1. Informational purposes only
The content on this Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to provide and does not constitute medical, psychiatric, psychological, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You should not rely upon this Site as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional who is familiar with your individual situation. Always seek the advice of your physician, psychiatric provider, therapist, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition.
2. No provider–patient relationship via the Site
Your use of this Site, including sending a message, filling out a contact form, reading content, or requesting an appointment, does not by itself create a provider–patient relationship with Gravida Psychiatry or with any individual clinician.
A clinical relationship is formed only after appropriate intake and screening, mutual agreement to proceed, and acceptance by the practice under applicable clinical, legal, and licensing standards. Until that relationship is formally established, no duty of diagnosis, treatment, or follow-up arises from your use of this Site.
3. Not for emergencies or crisis care
The Site is not intended for use in emergencies or urgent situations. Do not use the Site, contact forms, or ordinary email for emergency or crisis communications.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, including thoughts of self-harm or harm to others:
- Call 911
- Go to the nearest emergency room
- Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
Messages submitted through the Site may not be seen or responded to immediately and are not monitored on a continuous or emergency basis.
